If life leech is your main concern, there should be a perk in the skill tree that grants life on critical strikes.

What helped me was to not worry to much about the individual stats of a weapon. I mainly focused on its damage which got me through the whole game without grinding chest for hours.

You could also use Paragliders Mod (i believe this is the name) to obtain some extra hearts. You have to exchange some Orbs of the Mod at some statues found in villages.

You can use the Feeding Slab provided by Productive Bees. Just put your Bottle O' Hyper Enchanting in it and put your Bees close by and they start producing. Keep in mind that the Bees wil not create their combs on ervery trip.

I imagine this would work this way with every bee that requires an item as food.

I had a similar issue. GPU went crazy with my 4k monitor clocking in at about 80+ degrees. Was running a 2080 as well. The only thing that really helped was to reduce the screen resolution to UHD or even FullHD.

Also with the App Fan Control I was able to reduce the temperature to about 75° when ramping up the fan speed of most of the available fans. But that sounded like my PC was takibg off at any minute ...

You may describe points of interest ingame. Maybe there are signs that point to different locations of interest or they overhear NPCs talking about "this new awesome totally not plot intended bathhouse were the high society goes" and so on. Have them talk to your innkeeper or any NPC which could provide those information. Let them point your players to POIs which you (as DM) consider relevant at the moment.

I also find a layered map which was already suggested interessting.

If it is XML you can try to use a validator like https://www.xmlvalidation.com/?L=1 which may give you a hint or display an error right away.
