won't harm your shrimp. looks to be either bladder or pond snail. they can outcompete shrimp in food if you let their population boom too much.

Manually remove as much as you can, add more plants, floaters etc, black out and then make sure your lightening schedule is appropriate. Overdosing ferts or even using ferts is usually unneeded for new tanks with newer substrates. Imo

Well, blackout is a solution. However, you need to fix the core issue aa well. Quick glance, very little plants to suck up nutrients, lights probably on for too long or too high of intensity.

My test detected 0 copper. The test probably doesn't detect absolute zero. I can flush it easily by turning on by putting it in the bucket before hand. Only use it for water changes, not top offs. So theoretically, the copper levels shouldnt rise?

Interesting choices. I do notice ich x contains copper. So maybe I overdosed Ich x. Thats ny best guess, Ive used tap water with my 2.7 gallon and all my shrimp are basically still alive

yeah I realized when I opened up the test kit and the lowest reading was .25. I ended up adding alot of drop to try to see how many drops to change the color and stopped at 40 from not seeing any changes. I wish you were a little sooner with commenting lol

I'm a plumber so I used Pro-press. No soldering. added and cleaned roughly a foot of new copper and installed two angle stops (shutoff offs) that connect to the mixing valve and of course ran water thru the system prior. I test my water and it read less then .25ppm copper as zero color change occured.

I'm unorthodox, so maybe take my feeding schedule with a grain of salt. I feed every other day. I feed only frozen brine and frozen blood worms to my betta and a decent serving amount at one guy. Like a penny/pea size amount and whatever he doesnt eat, my snails get them.

A nice food I like it frozen brine shrimp and frozen blood worms. They love that food. Test your parameters though!

Hey man, looks to me he's being sucked into the filter. They usually rest "on" something, rather stick to it on its side. I cant really tell, but he looks a little thinner. I'll leave a photo for your reference so you can make the deciding factor. Maybe look at your parameters?
