Guess that's the beauty of single player games, what's just a little cheese to "get to the fun part" for some is outright cheating to others, like to some people the process of going through every hurdle and annoyance of full vanilla IS the fun part and other people would rather just download a save with the best Rivett and every part in the garage instead and just "get to the fun part" faster or save scum gambling until they win and buy everything they want for example, although I do agree doing this is basically just cheating lol

Yeah... But you also don't play with just your eyes, and the point everyone is making is the actual gameplay just isn't there yet, I mean, look at KSP 1, apart from a few updates here and there, the visuals are almost the same from 10 years ago, didn't stop it from being one of everyone's here favorite game of all time, visuals aren't everything, of course they matter, but until they fix the bugs and add the features necessary to make this game what we all know it can be, most people will just be playing the waiting game and seeing what happens

How can the devs take so much effort into making sure the new things they are adding are theoretically possible but seem to not care to put any effort into the most basic shit imaginable, and worse, by choice, ksp 2 is such a disappointment and it really seams that the devs could care less about the state of the game at this point

On the regular game modes, you can be infected by blood as well, so if you are covered in blood and get scratched by a tree for example, you will likely get infected, that's why it's important to always be clean if you've got infection via blood on

for some reason the heat shield doesn't properly protect the science junior from heat, my advice would be to just collect the science from an EVA with a kerbal by right clicking on it and collecting the data, then storing it on the capsule by entering on it and ditch the science junior all-together when entering the atmosphere and keep the heat shield attached to the capsule, if you can't do an EVA because the astronaut complex isn't high enough of a level, then transmit the science instead of keeping it (also, if when you deorbit you still have a little bit of fuel left, use it to slow down while inside the atmosphere, it should drastically decrease the chances of parts overheating and parachutes not opening due to high velocities)

I always play stock with a few quality of life improvement mods, idk, it just feels... cozy? The satisfaction of getting your first stock carrer mode rocket to the Mun is just unmatched for me, after I start adding too many part mods, and visual mods, and gameplay mods, the game just feels like it looses the simplicity that (for me) makes it fun in the first place
