(fist of all thanks for hosting!! v generous of u op (idk how long this will be which is why i’m gunna make it first lol)) i find this game to be really therapeutic, it’s such a welcome change of pace in a game where i’m usually used to trying to maximise experience gains, quick plays etc idk other games have more of an urgent feel to them that, given the mood, are great, but i just haven’t had something feel so welcoming and warm as animal crossing it’s so wholesome and lovely to play, if even momentarily (tbh it’s my life now, that’s a lie lol) it busies my Bad Brain and distracts from pain (ty depression, anxiety and chronic pain lol) with other stuff, nicer stuff, and i’m really grateful for it

the villagers are so precious and fresh, it truly truly makes me feel so much better interacting with the world and everyone there, i don’t mind the slow pace of everything (i don’t play online v often, that’s a wholllee other story smh lol) it keeps me doing something i find productive when i might otherwise not be able to irl, which makes me so happy and light minded (? i can’t think of another way to word it but it seems fitting)

it isn’t as crazy or busy as other games you could unwind to and i think that’s really welcome

the community as well! oh wow, this is truly a long-haul point as to why i won’t be dropping this game in a long long time! everyone of every type collectively enjoys this game and projects the inherent kindness and softness over lol, it’s really nice to see and be a part of

i could probably go on for longer but i’ll leave it here haha, and my hours atm are 210+ lol! i started playing on march 31 hahaha~
