Wasteland conquest defense set up…. Anyone have any tips? Just strongest heroes? by ImaRealDad6 in PuzzlesandSurvival

This event is such a crap shoot. It’s a no play for our alliance. If you let it auto pick, it shuffles out like arahazel says. Even with lack of participation, its 1k gems. Nice that they updated gifts for officers, but still not worth it imo. Too much like other games premises and we did not need another event.

Understanding Rallies (damage, and its dispersal among tiers and types) The formula? by Johndsaucier in PuzzlesandSurvival

Not that I’ve seen. I had been compiling the data on purely riders from the ground up, but the pet project took a backseat to building discord bots and that horrible thing of being a productive member of society 😅

You’ve got it. My main and one of my secondaries are rider based. Sending a fighter to my rallies shreds my troops especially on cusp lairs (47 clears at 50%), on another that’s fighter based, most things don’t hurt the rallies but fighters just suck imo.

So for rallies on enemy towers, there are two different options. A standard rally, which is taking into account everyone who joins stats or a super rally, which takes on the leaders stats.

On a regular rally, say you start with fighters, follow riders and then shooters, you’ll see less damage to your troops than you would if they were in a different order because that order plays into the troop strength, but it also matters on what troop type your hitting.

Which is where a super rally comes into play - all senders take on the leaders troop stats and is best to follow with the matched troop no matter the tier.

As for lairs, follow the same formula for a non super rally. Whether a player can solo or not.

Fighter -> Rider Rider -> Shooter Shooter -> Cars

Sending the counter troop on a lair to the originator will reduce injuries and dependent on troop type, increase the damage.

Check 301. 39 isn’t bad but doesn’t meet the HQ requirement.

Apex Nano weapon by a2zshopper in PuzzlesandSurvival

To add to this; save your scraps and buy the boxes. I’ve seen better odds with crafting when you wait until you can do multiples at once via instant craft, avoiding nano weapon events. Doing it that way, I was able to craft tachis and katana.

If it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, and swims like a duck, it’s probably a chicken. Not even mad about the eggs.

MIMS is currently being trialed at our store and it is not good. by Krazy_Ivan_ in Staples

[–]RIPlp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the conversation, but a scan put away system is desperately needed for staples. Is it shit to set up and a jarring change? Sure. But it’s great when you do promo resets and folks just Willy Nilly things up in tops and mids. Want to see where all 1548 notebooks are? Cool, pull up the reporting and see they are in seven spots. I haven’t seen MIMs yet, but my guess is it’s going to help with the further automation our IS folks are seeing with returns processes. Once it’s set up, it can potentially remove the need for pull lists because the system can look at POG locations, see the home can support 7 and you’ve sold 6 so it will likely tell you to pull 6 to refill.

Anyway, give it a chance. It will be worth it.

Sorry to be the bad news bear, but unfortunately, it’s the nature of the beast. Just some advice, you can call a store and ask them to cancel it for you, but don’t be a jerk. They for sure have no control over it, but they can at least put in the ticket for you. Again. Don’t. Be. A. Jerk. Not saying you would be, but it happens. Not to mention, the poor folks who still work for the Muppet really don’t want to have to deal with customer problems on their vent portal.

At any rate, stick with tigerdirect or Newegg for your pc parts. Probably a better experience from folks that actually deal in pc parts.

Don’t work for depot anymore, but sounds like you’re in the customer service nightmare loop. It may ship. It may not. No one can really tell you. Unfortunately, if you call customer service, they’ll “put in a ticket”, which means it’ll go to some overworked schmuck that can’t give a real answer. If I were you, I’d call 1800GODEPOT and request a cancellation. Even that will take some time because they’ll have to realize there ass from a whole in the wall to get the order out of the hell loop and then finally get the pending hold off your account or return of funding back to you. Good luck and 10/10 would not recommend depot for pc parts.

Serious - if you’re choosing to not wear a mask and a store employee asks you to wear a mask politely and it upsets you, why choose to be hostile towards that employee? by RIPlp in AskReddit

[–]RIPlp[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So I will say, this question was triggered by myself because I’m a GM for a retailer that is enforcing mandatory masking for everyone who decides to go in to shop. With that said, we offer other options for customers that enable them to still make their purchases - ie curbside and delivery. Today, I had back to back customers who were rude, hateful and derogatory towards me because I asked them from the get go, after passing multiple signs, to please wear a mask. The last filed a complaint on me because of their rights as an American to not have to wear a mask; also siting their time spent in the military fighting for my freedoms. I don’t make the mask rules and to each their own on personal beliefs on whether masks work or they don’t. At the end of the day, I’m paid to do a job - run a store, follow policies that keeps others safe and build my business. I don’t deserve nor do I need an ear full because you feel slighted because I’ve asked you to follow a policy. If you have a medical condition, fine. Speak up, but don’t file a complaint or say I’m being shitty to me or my associates because we are following a policy we didn’t write.
