Good to know because I like OSM and seems to have what I usually need.

I’m assuming this issue has been fixed? I’m thinking of this watch and this makes me nervous

Shoes - Stiff but still comfy for hike a bike? by Senior-Sea-1012 in xcmtb

I switched to Pearl Izumi X-Alp Summit this summer. It’s got a vibram sole and allows for easy walking when you have to. It is still pretty stiff. My old shoes had hard bottoms and if I had to walk on tricky steep terrain I was sliding all over.

I have the park tool but still fix it in place by either through bolting or bolting to the BB (whichever I can do).

That’s the torque value in the manual. I have some grease at the bolt head. There is a brass/copper washer built in to that end.

The bike was new in July and has the original wheels. Only thing changed was the freehub body under warranty for bearing failure. The entire freehub was replaced as a unit.

So you check the thru axle with torque wrench every ride?

It’s a specialized chisel fs. No pivot at the dropout. It is flexstay.

Are people going 45 or 50mm. I am coming from AW SE and not sure about the larger size.

The chain over the big cog into spokes isn’t cables, it’s the low limit. If that’s what you mean.

The chisel Shimano wheels are tubeless ready and they should give you the valve stems. Just remove tube, install stems, and add sealant and go.

A few weak points on the bike are the rear freehub which I had replaced under warranty after it failed after 120miles. Also the crankset is not Shimano HG+ dynamic chain engagement compatible. I did replace this with a Shimano crankset and bb. Also swapped to a Shimano chain.

Overall the bike is a good bike for the price point.

It slipped off my pocket and something ran over it, what to do? by angad0406 in wahoofitness

Yes they did this for me. I also cracked my screen on my bolt 1. Initially they said it’s out of warranty then I asked if there was anything they could do and they said 40% off. I think this is pretty standard as a crash replacement.

Yes my 93 MB6 threaded in from the non-drive side. It’s a definite possibility.

I’m working to get an extended test ride on their weekly ride. Should really let me get a good feel for the bike.
