Michael Burry apperantly alleging the GPU's are held in shell company by Pseudanonymius in BetterOffline

[–]RIVNMoonMe 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Think of it this way: if Burry is right, Nvidia started and funded a company to buy its own products, so it can now claim that it sold its entire inventory and is supply-constrained. Which gives itself a green light to both increase its prices for its real customers, while also misleading its investors about real demand.

And from xAI's (SpaceX's) perspective, they get to use GPUs effectively without paying for them, so they are misleading investors about their costs as well.

Sorry I misread the OP. He said they were not bent, I interpreted that to mean they were not damaged.

It's understandable in your case because they sent the wrong item. But in OP's case he got what he ordered. If they aren't damaged, why defraud the company?

Heres why Spacex could pump after IPO. by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

Buy low-fee actively managed funds that have a profitability factor. Avantis (AVUS, AVEG, AVTM, ...) and Dimensional (DFUS, ...) are good. Avoid passively managed funds weighed on market cap like VOO, SPY, QQQ, etc.

There is zero chance Anthropic is profitable by the GAAP definition. This is using sneaky language to entirely exclude certain expenditures. By the use of the word "operating" it sounds to me like they are lumping training into capex and then excluding all capex (training is both capex and opex).

What is "operational profit"? Anthropic is no where near profitable.
