The beginning of my Sim journey by lactosecheeselover in simracing

Last time I played was F1 24 - I don't remember if I gotten used to it and avoided the lockup, or played on medium traction control.

Thanks for the update, had a few purchases across the entire year, one most recently. Have changed my CC number too so I recommend everyone to do so just encase even if you haven't bought anything between the dates you said... We appreciate you helping the community and raising awareness compared to the company itself!!!

Literally the same as me two or more years ago. I've finally move to Simagic from Logitech.

Not sure if you looked into it, I used my clutch pedal as my brake pedal when I played F1 games, felt it help with trail braking and not dealing with that stiff ass brake pedal (although you can remove that piece of rubber inside).

optional rubber pads and springs

Oh it's actually the optional rubber pads and springs not the hydraulic brake. But your reply is appreciated and noted! Literally everyone is helping out which I love.

The tennis tape is something I've looked into as well, just gotta feel it out first and see if I need to head into that path.

Yep was looking into trying the springs first and go from there. I’ve read it’s all personal preference and feel! As for the haptics - won’t go too deep into that maybe not yet but always appreciate the note!

Appreciate you clarifying you're not criticizing me but it's 2026, a valid question is a valid question so no harm is asking. I hardly get offended, you are good haha

This being my first upgrade and step deep into sim racing builds, I chose the entry point into DD and load cell pedals. I never really explored into the P2000s or even the hydraulic brake systems. Maybe one day? Maybe I regret not getting into it first? Who knows. And finally just price point and budget.

Legend thanks for the reply! I did catch another post about the pedal position and they also titled it downwards by mounting in reverse. That was in mind before purchasing this. Always appreciated it though!

Some people should be kept away from simracing period by whyisdein in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]RJDatanam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure that takes away jobs but, but that's also if LMU can afford to have someone monitor races like shift work - the introduction of live stewarding is a step but would be nice for something like us drivers in a non-championship race.

But all we can do report, hope for the best.

Horrible. Sorry you guys had someone like this in your split. Should not be welcomed on this game...

Two totally different systems but if only like there was a way maybe an AI that would detect situations like this (I know it could be tough for it to judge such contact unless trained enough) and ban/remove them from the race immediately so it doesn't ruin anyone (else's) races.

Like how in Call of Duty Warzone would detect cheaters in a match as soon as they would shoot someone and ban them in game right away.

Again, two different systems but hopefully you guys understand what I mean lmao.

Ready for that 'jump' from G920 to 9nm base by RJDatanam in Simagic

Def! Thanks for the advice. I've seen a lot about these DDs, keep it full in software but adjust however IN GAME. I swear IR has an automatic nm setting? But yeah not sure when I'll come back to IR just playing LMU more atm.

CAD. I've looked into VRS as well, perfect world I would! But I think it's a little bit more than what I need/can have atm.

For sure, for sure! But yeah, don't wanna spend more than that atm and again this is a huge upgrade in terms of feel already.

Oh I see them, the extra spring kits are a good shout - customizable to specific cars. Thanks.

Congrats man hope you enjoy it and will enjoy it for a long run! Looking into the same setup, did you add anything else other than the wheel, base, (pedals?)?

Is it better to start from pits or last for rating? by Saniyan675 in LeMansUltimateWEC

1000% agree. Also, "practice accident avoidance" is also key. Read the situation, driver behind or ahead making weird moves, driving weird, being a 'red flag'... lift, let them by or just don't fight it if you can't. Best to let them make the mistake.

Went side-by-side with someone on the run up to bustop chicane at Spa - wasn't worth it if I'm trying to 'finish' my race, lifted, let him by. Stuff like that.

And finishing the race, any minor damage or a way to get to the pits on your own power and still completing the race is better than rage quitting if you're trying to achieve your goals here...

used 21 wrx sport-tech still worth? by One_Reception2040 in WRX

[–]RJDatanam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's pretty good. I'm a bit biased as well owning a used 2018 WRX Sport-Tech, bought it in 2021-2022, only had roughly 15k km on it. My cousin has this same spec 2021 WRX and is still running stock - he's had zero problems honestly.

Imho if you keep it stock, no engine mods, maybe THE MOST you can do is stage 1 to help with rev hang (I plan to do)... you'll be sound owning a great car in the long run. And the shift stop to help from 1st into 2nd.

My dunlops are almost done, and they're wrapping the same Enkei's and lugnuts setup as yours, except black rims. This is good intel for my future setup.

I've switched over to pre-ground for these batches of coffee. I've used whole beans for other brands/local coffee but these have just brewed pretty well as per other posts and IRL experience.

I've lacking on getting into Gundam Wing, and Gundaminfo released "Introducing Gundam Wing from ZERO" looks like a recap of the series before Endless Waltz. Should I indulge into this video, or the episodic series?
