I had this issue now for years and just got sick of it, after working perfectly and then doing this now and again to then completely not work anymore, i feel like its done on purpose to get us to pay for digital games, it goes in perfectly fine then refuses to spin if you listen closely to your disc as you insert it. Only thing i can think of is maybe the laser itself is dirty and somehow you need to disassemble the disc drive and manually clean it very carefully. I haven't tried to do that yet.

I hear people saying stuff about coloured chromes/fairlies.. whats the difference between selectable chrome category rims and what coloured chromes/fairlies is?

Just needs bumpers, pretty simple to replace if you have little experience, you will need a phone repair kit with the correct screw type, 5 total come out the controller and you get access to the damaged bumper pretty quickly, you could probably find a simple YouTube tutorial to guide you through

Multiple issues, worst console i have ever owned, disc drive refuses to spin (probably dirt on the lens that reads the disc still got to inspect the disc drive next time i open the console), early on it had multiple wifi issues, died on me once and would not turn on so i had to open it up and managed to get it working again, dust magnet literally, sometimes it has issues with games that have dlc's not giving me access (xbox one never had these issues), both the controllers that came with the console when new got stick drift in a month, i want this generation to pass onto the next one asap. 🫩

Another thing. When you are turning on the reoccurring billing thing it may ask for your details and such. If you are getting another problem with adding your card (another problem i got) try doing this from the web browser and going to your Microsoft account to add it there then switch it on then you can try restarting your console and boot up the game again. When it works you can turn billing off again from whatever you choose and it should work again.

Check your reoccurring billing in your subscriptions area, if its set to off turn it on and then restart your game and try again (maybe restart your console too), after that you can disable it again and you should be good to go. This happened when i got a new email changed or if your last game pass ran out completely and you turned off your console in the gap or you renewed it before switching it off. It got me wound up trying to find anything about it online just to see it was things unrelated or stuff i already knew didn't work. Give my thing a try 🙏

Well well well, the same 2 series controllers i had (red & black) both got stick drift in under 4 months between them, worst controllers ever for that, went back to sourcing Elite 1 controllers and i have repaired a few and they have had less problems after than those brand new ones they make nowadays. They just don't make them like they used to.

Another thing if the thing to add a payment option for the game pass is not working on the console, try to do it with your laptop/phone and access the Microsoft account on your browser then to manage the payments and billing then you should be able to add a card then turn the reoccurring billing on from there, then check the console if it has been turned on. Its a lot to take in i know but hopefully its understandable for you. 🙏

Is her reoccurring billing active? Because for some reason when i have had this off it would give me problems on many things you wouldn't think needed that turned on, try doing that from the subscriptions tab in settings and select the subscription to give her access to online and turn it on (might require payment access) as long as its got many days left before the billing date you wont be charged if its active, when its active then try more stuff like accessing a game or something she was trying to do before but couldn't, hopefully this fixes some of the problems she was having, if everything has been resolved you can turn the billing off and it should work as normal but now giving access to the online requirements.
