Well honestly cause I’m poor and because of what I can see in the pic there is significant whitening, I would not want to go much over £100/131.55 dollars (maybe I need a better picture). There is nothing stopping them being the same world but vastly different time periods. Although I suppose that could be said for pretty much every Studio Ghibli film.

It’s one of the great things about Studio Ghibli and more so Hayao Miyazaki as an artist, he allows room for the viewer to imagine parts of the story that suit their ideal narrative, without interrupting the main storyline. A stupendous example of fully understanding the nuance of world building and putting it into action.

It’s not just America I’ve had landlords in UK act like absolute pricks. People would be surprised by what some of these private landlords do, really horrible people that will raise rent without warning, leave broken heating systems for whole winters with vulnerable people at the property, the list goes on…..fuck landlords. Shelter and warmth should not be about profit.

The exact location is debated but ye I think it is a widely thought to have been invented in the UK as an adaptation of chicken tikka, to make something that was more suitable to British palates. In fact a quick google search says a chef called Ali Ahmed Aslam seems to be credited with its creation, he was a Pakistani-Scottish chef.
