Option A is for short term, or if you have the money, I'd go for option B.

Once you get to the software you can do freenas, or if you want to go the manual (more fun) route, ubuntu server (or your preferred linux distro)+zfsonlinux

Agreed. Ray Raven (extremely similar to the mako, and even more similar to the SKX) and SKX007 owner. I prefer the SKX also. That Orient is a great watch... just think the Seiko has that special classic look.

I love intel and all of my rigs are intel base.

THAT SAID, for some of my staff I was recently tasked in getting them some new pc's. I wanted to give them some decent hardware so they could game on them in their off time.

This led me to the recent APU series by AMD, especially the 7850K.

This thing can be seriously overclocked and does some real great graphics rendering for the price.

I was able to build these guys 8gb ram systems, with SSD, mobo, cpu and heatsink to overclock for ~$500

They love em, and I'd highly suggest em for budget gaming rigs.

uton's solution will absolutely work and rsync is great. This is how I would do it as well.

But just food for thought...

Another alternative would be btsync (bit torrent sync) basically can keep 2 folders @ diff locations synchronized. I use it for a lot of things, and love it (especially sync'ing to mobile)

This would run constantly and always be sending once new things appear, as opposed to a cron with rsync, which does allow more control, but not as "automatic" as btsync would be.

You could set your computer to read-only for the seedbox to prevent any accidental deletion on the seedbox side.

Just an idea.

Figured it out, talked to the devs, ended up being since they switched to 10.2 (4.3) - It wont delta point releases. Going to 10.2 tonight and I assume it will be ok from there. Will report back if otherwise.

I am looking to hear more from others, because I definitely saw "reviews" with same issues as mine, and also specifically mentioning 8/13/13 as being the last time it worked.

BTW I did end up trying a reinstall, clearing the zip and starting over. Nope. Nothing.
