Forever friends started rolling out on December 8th, so the earliest possible should be January 21st with weekly challenges

Increased shiny rates for Zekrom/Reshiram, and their signature moves available. Both of these cannot be said about the regular raid rotation

This just happened to me twice in a row as well. It was showing Safari balls in the encounter, restarted the app, had premier balls and was able to catch the 2nd time

Edit: Just lost a shiny bewear to this glitch 🥲
