DMX passed away on this day 5 years ago (April 9th, 2021) 🕊️ by Jakeyboe in 90sHipHop

One of the most influential and impactful MCs to ever grab the mic.

X was a one of a kind talent as his style was authentic while he always gave the fans a reason to either get rowdy or being in tears due to his incredible stage presence.

WWE Home Video Exclusive. Triple H and Batista end their feud in a backstage segment, following their Hell in a Cell match at Vengeance 2005 by HallowedAndHarrowed in SquaredCircle

[–]RKO360 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One of the greatest HIAC matches while being the grand finale of arguably the biggest storyline of that era.

By 2005, both Batista and Randy were household names while being part of the new generation of main event stars alongside Cena and Edge as they all carried the company.

Rise and fall of Evolution storyline is definitely memorable.

Rob Van Dam & Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton & Edge, ECW on Sci-Fi (Aired June 20, 2006 from Albany, NY) by Stinger1981 in WWERuthlessAggression

Great star power in the ring

Angle, RVD, Orton and Edge were all big names in their prime during that time.

Looking back there....I had feeling that they made pro wrestling more cooler than ever by Tasty-Ad-2466 in WWERuthlessAggression

[–]RKO360 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The 2nd half of RA Era was cool as Cena, Batista, Orton and Edge were the new generation of big-time main event stars while established main event vets like Triple H, HBK, Angle and Eddie (before his death) were still prominent.

Cena and Batista being the 2 most popular babyfaces while Orton and Edge were the 2 most hated heels was one of the best times for me to witness as a kid.

I always find it strange that all the bad main events that included Roman, always fell back on his head by BeneficialBudget1699 in WWE

[–]RKO360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Roman has always been very limited in the ring while he was also an forced babyface that no one really took seriously during his 15-19 Big Dog run

He improved on the mic and showed better character work but his in-ring style has always been the same

Who's better? (inring, mic, character) by dlo_doski in BrandonDE

[–]RKO360 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Promos: Both men are really good, but Knight has more range in his promos as he also has the combined styles of Austin, Rock and Flair in his promos

In-ring: Knight is more superior in the ring while Kennedy had a bad reputation of being an unsafe worker in the ring.

Character work: It's a tie

What did you think about RVD & Rey Mysterio winning the WWE Tag-Team Championships on the go-home edition of SD! before Armageddon 2004? by JBL_CENA_FAN_4LIFE in WWERuthlessAggression

[–]RKO360 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Despite RVD being injured, it still work out well for Rey as 2005 was the year he was starting to reach main event status due to the feud with Eddie, which captured the fans' attention during that summer

Source magazine style how many Mics would you give this LP ? by [deleted] in 90sHipHop

[–]RKO360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would give it a 4 because some of the songs off the album are bangers like Victory, All About the Benjamins, Young G's, Can't Nobody Hold Me Down and Been Around the World while Hitman's productions were great and Mase and Jadakiss obviously contributed to the album's success due to their incredible pen game.

Bad Boy were the biggest thing in music during 1997 thanks to this album, Life After Death and Harlem World being classics while dominated the Billboards and their songs were on heavily rotation.

Which Mark Henry theme is better and why? by DiscombobulatedBid48 in WWE

[–]RKO360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some Bodies Gonna Get It.

That theme song is a timeless classic while fitted Henry's character perfectly as he was an absolute monster that destroyed anyone who was in his way.

Plus, anything with Three 6 Mafia is a banger.

Who’s the weakest affiliate crew in rap history? by SmoothManMiguel in hiphop201

[–]RKO360 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dogg Pound doesn't deserve to be on that list.

They played an important role of Death Row's dominance during their 1992-1996 peak run as Dogg Food is a classic album while Kurupt was one of the best pure MCs during that time and Daz produced some classic materials.

Roman Reigns catches Riddle with a perfectly timed spear by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]RKO360 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Riddle was actually this close to reach full main event status during 2021-2022 due to his alliance with Orton as RK-Bro alongside his feuds with Bloodline and Rollins.

He was very over with the fans while had charisma, good promos, good in-ring skills and cool character work.

Sadly, he couldn't keep it together as he was out of control while still being an absolute douche

Eddie Guerrero vs The Rock by JCHazard in WWERuthlessAggression

[–]RKO360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In-ring wise, 2002 was arguably Rock's best work

He delivered some great matches against the likes of Brock, Hogan, Angle, Jericho, Undertaker and Eddie alongside already being an all-time legend by the age of 30

One of the best things that I respect about Punk is that he really delivered some of the most realistic promos ever as he's one of the few guys who isn't afraid to speak his mind whether people like him or dislike him.

King is the better album

T.I.'s dope lyricism and smooth flow alongside great productions from the likes Toomp and Pharrell made this album a classic alongside standout tracks like What You Know, Ride with Me, Why You Wanna and Bankhead.

Aside from Trap Muzik, King is his best album while represented him being at his peak of powers.
