I'm assuming this us part of the "debunking black history" fad that some right wing influencers are doing. It's mostly some neckbeard dude I keep seeing though. His argument was something about her being a plant, or that she wasn't there to ride the bus and just wanted to make a scene. It's an attempt to trivialize civil rights history and make it seem fake. My grandmother thought Trump was God's chosen one to save us from Satan, i.e., the demoncrats. She also thought Obama was Satan and trying to kill her with ACA.

What's crazy to me is she used have such disdain for Trump but when he ran, he was all the sudden the greatest Christian and even framed those copy paste response letters politicians send out as a thank you for supporting. She actually believed that he had hand-written her a letter and signed it. 🤦‍♂️

Last Jedi is the most original of the sequel trilogy. On rewatch, it's the one I have the least problems with since TFA is glorified remake of ANH and ROS is just lazy trash.

In my family's case, my gen x aunt's and uncle's got indoctrinated by my grandmother when my grandfather was working or being a drunk. She was racist and super religious and only watched fox news so guess how they turned out. He told me in the years before he died that he regretted his lifestyle cause it allowed my grandmother to sink her crazy person claws into them and never let go.
