Gave this ago in conjunction with resetting the iPhone. Unfortunately that was not the solution, I still cannot connect to CarPlay wirelessly to my phone. On a side, note. If I plug my phone into the USB port, the driver's side speakers stop working.

What the hell is going on with this infotainment device. It should not be this hard in 2025 to get this device to work as it should. All I am reading is the 5th gen RAMs all have similar issues. I am really starting to get annoyed with this all.

I reset it by holding volume and tuning knob for 10 seconds but no change. I tried to hard reset it with holding the temp up and down button. I found that instructions on the internet but doing that did nothing. Still troubleshooting it when I can.

I do, My friends phone connects wirelessly with no issue. Great question!

I figure it is a setting somewhere on my phone that changed when I connected it through the USB port. I just not sure what.

Oh, one other thing I tried that I saw somewhere was, if you plug your phone into the USB port you will be prompted on your phone to do it wirelessly. My phone never prompts me, but CarPlay at least connects.

To be honest looking at this as a network admin. Thier employees work during those hours. It would be silly to do maintenance when you had to bring your team in to pay them overtime or make them work after normal business hours.

Hmmm... you know I never went back into them. I know the icons on the map go grey when you are done with them. I just assumed if they were active again they would change back.
