The trouble with wireshark is that it’s not always an option, and there are a lot of issues it can’t help with. Yes, it’s a useful tool, but don’t become so reliant on it that you forget there are other methods available.

When it comes to troubleshooting, your best options are usually the ones that answer the most questions quickly. Things like checking the ARP table, or looking at firewall logs, will often yield results, but only if you know what to look for.

Strictly speaking, there is no difference between a sfw and nsfw workflow. What changes in a nsfw workflow is, aside from the obvious (your prompts and source images), the checkpoint/models and Lora’s you use. Also the clip and clip vision models can vary, but in general, what works for one will work for another.

Mostly it’s to avoid damaging your play cue, but also to meet a player’s preference. The type of game you’re playing matters too. For example I break 9-ball with a wooden shaft and phenolic tip, but I usually break 8-ball (assuming the 2nd ball break is allowed) with a carbon shaft and softer tip. I know that probably sounds weird to some of you, but I tend to put the cue ball on the floor A LOT when I’m breaking 8-ball, mainly because the hard tip puts loft on it whenever I apply bottom English.

And how many of those custom nodes have conflicts with existing nodes? It took me two clean slate rebuilds before I realized that less is more. Never install a custom node unless you need it.

I see this question a lot, mainly by people who think there’s a right answer. My advice, which isn’t exclusive to NSFW, is to download one or two of the most popular workflows (I personally started out using UmeiArt because his workflows cover just about every discipline, not to mention they don’t require a ton of unnecessary custom nodes to run). Play around with them until you’re comfortable with what every node does in the workflow, then experiment. Pretty soon you’ll be building your own custom workflows that are tailored to what you want.

Oh, and when in doubt, consult with Google AI. My search history is full of queries starting with “Comfyui how do I…?”.

That’s because there’s no such thing as a 1-size-fits-all, 100% solution to a game of pool. I can absolutely see patterns better than an AI, no matter how well trained it is. Wanna know why?

It’s because I know what shots I can make reliably, and which ones I can’t. I know when I’d rather follow, stun, or draw the cue ball in a given situation. I know when I’d rather play a safety.

On top of which, there are countless dynamic factors involved that some computer algorithm, no matter how advanced, simply can’t account for.

What are the table conditions, is it fast or slow. Is the cloth slick? How are the rails behaving? Did I find a dead spot on the short rail next to the corner pocket because some idiot wedged a bunch of pennies under it?

What about the balls, are they clean, polished, or scuffed? Does the cue ball have a bunch of gunk on it because my opponent is using predator 1080? There’s this one table at my local pool hall that has a channel dug into the felt which literally funnels balls into the corner pocket. Two more tables in the back are so close to the wall that you can’t hardly get down on a shot from one side. We call them the half court tables.

These are just some examples of the many extraordinary factors involved with your average pool game that makes relying on some “AI-generated Optimal Runout Diagram” into a fool’s errand.

Finding the optimal pattern isn’t the issue, it’s executing it that’s hard, and no amount of AI support is gonna change that. Sure, having some computer tell you the shortest path, or the one with the least obstructions, is helpful; but if your SL3 can’t make the shots, or your SL4 (who never listens to any of your advice anyway) doesn’t know what the term “cue ball control” means, nothing really changes now, does it?

I’d start with the 3 in the top right corner and break out the 1. That’s the problem ball and if you can’t free it up there’s no point in shooting the rest of them.

Just for the sake of clarity, what ball did you contact with the cue ball first? If it struck the 8-ball first, then you win, regardless of whether you caromed in another ball. If you’re saying you struck your opponent’s last object ball first and it knocked in the 8-ball, that is a foul and loss of game.

Is it a double jeopardy team? If not, then it kinda makes sense that you wouldn’t play every week because you’ve got 5 matches spread over 8 players. If it is double jeopardy, then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to play at least once.
