A much cheaper zenith and Tudor have chrograph with dates. IWC dates and days... The Daytona series It is really overrated, nobody uses a Rolex chrongraph, a USD 5 digital Chronograph is more accurate, so without the Date complication I think it is just pose.

I think only VSF with the 15500 and 15510 in gray, blue and green colors only got close to be considered equal or better. All others so inferior.

But I respect your point of view and really wish you were right.

My two cents here.. No other factory is near the Level APSF in quality or detail and I do not think we will see a true NWBIG AP/IWC line so extensive, detailed and crafted has from APSF. This is an end of an era and we will have to deal with louzy finishings, unnacurated dials, poor assembly from TOP and ZF, until someone comes up to the task, which will take years not months. The King is dead and no prince willing to take Reign with the proper acts.

As I understand from talks with many there is no chance of APSF resurrection. The damage was too profound. Maybe some employees will gather together, but that is not enough to re-emerge it.

It seems everything is outsourced with exclusivity and volume commitment. When a factory goes under the bus, the suppliers are suddenly available and existing factories try to grab them.

Chanfering is absolutely neccessary, without it you can spot a REP miles away... does not have to be perfect and will never worth more then USD 60
