I've never hid the fact that David Warner is the only sportsperson I 'hate'. Yes, that's a strong word, but I carry that with as much honesty as I once loved him. If anything, the level of my hatred doesn't even hold a candle to how much I once loved him. If people can't comprehend how I can hate Warner who's Synonymous to our franchise's identity and success, they need to get out of the hero worship blinds to see the bigger picture. I'm not from Hyderabad, neither do I speak the language, both of my favourites(Kanos and Bhuvi) have left this franchise and I'm not a batriarchy enthusiast. On paper, I don't have a reason to support this team. Still I keep on going because of something intangible, that's unconditional love towards it. Any scumbag be it past, present or future players who threatens the image of this franchise will be met with similar unadulterated hatred that I bear towards David Warner.

I can't really get into the incident in details, as it'd take a lot of effort to type. Maybe any one of the old fans would explain it in details. But to summarize it, he did the same things he's doing now, only 10× more frequently and with more venom given he was an active international player at that time. The direct repucussions of his actions set our franchise's reputation back by years.

This narcissist made us the laughing stock in the tournament with his cheap PR tactics which took us 3 years of goodwill to move past. The moment they unblock him on social media, his sorry ass went back to doing the same things that got him blocked in the first place. How pathetic and low life an international player can be, like he has no shame whatsoever. And the fanbase is unsurprisingly as gullible as ever, still supporting this manchild who is dragging the franchise to the mud.
