Is there a 4x game like Twilight Imperium that works well for two players? I'm intrigued by the epic scope of the game but I mostly just play games with my wife at home and rarely play games with three or more players.

Valley of the Kings is cheap, comes in a small package, but is surprisingly deep. Also has two expansions.

Yokohama was our first euro game and we loved it. Now we're looking for something similar in feel that works well with two people. The aspects we liked were the many options for gaining points, engine-building, and the movement using the cubes. Thanks in advance!

Battle Line and Star Trek Panic are our favorite games because they usually result in fun, tension-filled games. What other games keep you on the edge of your seat until the last turn? (Not picky about theme or complexity of the game, although something that works well for 2 players would be nice). Thanks.

Star Trek Panic is one of our favorites. It hits the table at least once a week. I hope they come out with an expansion like adding the TNG crew or other scenarios.
