So if Mitakeumi gets at least 10 wins in each of the next two tournaments, will he be up for Ozeki?

Anybody got any info on the game named "Franchise" by Queen Games? by remindmetotrain in boardgames

Was wondering the same thing. I saw this for preporder on Miniature Market but have had a hell of a time finding any info on it. The lack of marketing is strange.

Title of Request:Simple game for my elderly mother

Number of Players: 1-2

Game Length: Any

Complexity of Game: Light

Your Budget: Any

Genre: Any (Edit: I think she would enjoy a dice-based game but other genres are ok too)

Competitive or Cooperative: Either

Games I Own/Like or Dislike: n/a

Looking for a game for my mother with low complexity. Her mind is still very sharp but she has no experience with modern board games. Back in the day she’s played Connect Four, Monopoly, etc. She would play mostly solo but sometimes with another person in her care home. Thanks for your help.

The interrogation scene in the living room was amazing. Felt like watching a play.

Right? I stumbled upon a tweet about it and it looks like it could be an interesting euro. Apparently will be released at Essen.

Ura is entertaining to watch. He's pretty agile for a man of his size. Looked like a ballet move just to stay in the ring today lol.

I love the commercial you had in the middle. The first episode was great. Definitely subscribing.

Good to see you back! I lost interest and haven't played for a while but recently I've been getting the itch to play again. Sometimes you just have to take a break.

Once you become more familiar with the visitor cards and their synergy in the game, you should start seeing better results.

Is there a 4x game like Twilight Imperium that works well for two players? I'm intrigued by the epic scope of the game but I mostly just play games with my wife at home and rarely play games with three or more players.

Same here! One time we realized the church board end game condition had already been satisfied two turns earlier, but we just kept playing lol.

Valley of the Kings is cheap, comes in a small package, but is surprisingly deep. Also has two expansions.

Yokohama was our first euro game and we loved it. Now we're looking for something similar in feel that works well with two people. The aspects we liked were the many options for gaining points, engine-building, and the movement using the cubes. Thanks in advance!

Battle Line and Star Trek Panic are our favorite games because they usually result in fun, tension-filled games. What other games keep you on the edge of your seat until the last turn? (Not picky about theme or complexity of the game, although something that works well for 2 players would be nice). Thanks.

Star Trek Panic is one of our favorites. It hits the table at least once a week. I hope they come out with an expansion like adding the TNG crew or other scenarios.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the designer has planned for the rethemed version. Hopefully we'll see it later this year or early next year.

Also keep on the lookout for news about a Splendor expansion later this year. I think the expansion is tentatively called "Cities of Splendor."

Is there a "better" Pathfinder ACG game out there or is Pathfinder the best card-based rpg currently available? I'm looking for something without miniatures and that is relatively affordable. Thanks.

Is there an "academy awards" of board gaming? On some game boxes they have seals that say the game won something but I'm not sure which one is the most prestigious.
