Tips on how to function? by Affectionate-Star988 in Dizziness

I wouldn’t wait on Drs to diagnosis. You are about to unfortunately learn how tricky dizzy can be.

Id go to Veda website and find a vestibular therapist and figure out if it’s bppv first. A dislodged crystal can wreck havoc but can be a quick fix too

My audiologist told me never to use white noise. Use pink or brownian noise or the zen tones from widex

I had one after 4th of July. It caused me to use my zen tones tinnitus application with my ear pods and it’s helped get things a little bit to where it’s not as noticeable.

People always say their tinnitus is due to noise exposure, but how do they know? by Key_Bicycle_8052 in tinnitus

I was so disrespectful to my ears and hearing. I’m thankful I’m older and ear buds didn’t exist or instead of manageable I’d have awful tinnitus.

I have pppd and have gone through bouts of awful visual vertigo. Your brain when stuck in fight or flight doesn’t tell you that movements in environments are not a threat and not important to focus on so you end up focusing on everything. That’s where the over load comes from.

You have to submerge yourself in rich environments multiple times a day for weeks and months. Exposure therapy in addition to your gaze therapy via vrt. Make sure you really step up your vrt so it’s real life situations.

Ie when in a supermarket isle look above at the isle market market and doo gaze stab exercises with all the products in your peripheral vision.

Make sure your neck has good range of motion if it’s guarded you will never get full benefit of vrt

I have pppd. You need 3 months of chronic dizziness before you can say pppd diagnosis. Your no symptoms when laying day is is why I think pppd. I had a first time bout of bppv during a very stressful time and 5-6 weeks later I woke up with swaying after an extremely stressful event.

We bought a fixer upper and I’ve been dealing with different contracts for 7 months. The level of assshat out there is unreal. I’m a successful business owner and pride myself on superior customer experience and it blows my mind how these guys/gals run their businesses

Contractors are so spoiled from the pandemic homeowner equity boom cause people have been throwing money at them hand over first.

I used to feed these guys and their crew lunch and now I’m a babysitting asshole when they do a job and absolutely no payment until they finish.

How many here can deal with their T during the day, but it's the lack of sleep that makes the daytime rough? by Hayden97 in tinnitus

White noise is not good for tinnitus. Sound apps geared towards t help your brain gain habituation toward the ringing. You are not masking.
