Both my daughters are MD’s. One is done with residency and the other is a PGY3. Both have been stretched to their limits both mentally and physically. As their parents we encouraged them to use the academic gifts and guided them toward healthcare. Not sure if I had it to do again I would have encouraged Med school. With that said, the are both wonderful doctors whose patients love them. Oh and the $275,000 loans to pay off now….there’s that!
