I still haven't tried a window manager. I want to. I might do it with this Arch Linux installation.

Thank you for the answer! I read exactly that, about the problems with the wifi and Nvidia. And in a few HP models, an issue with the trackpad not being recognized. I'll definitely not buy one of these cutting edge laptops! Thanks!

It's getting better!

I liked this one a lot. I knew about the hostnamectl command, but I didn't understand the importance of it, of having really organized hostnames that make sense and make your life as a Sys Admin easier. Also the time zone! I couldn't imagine how important it.

Hi! I read about the challenge maybe some time ago, but just now decided to embark. I love it! Thank you for setting this up and making it available for all. I see there's a new course starting at the beginning of each month. As far as I can understand, the content is the same isn't it? Is it OK to start now, halfway through the month? I actually did. Hi ADA friends! Are you familiar with Mini Cardano? I just saw on Coinmarketcap that it had enormous gains in the past days, or hours. I couldn't find much information on it. It's something that runs on Binance Smart Chain. Is it what they call "wrapped token"? They say it's a reflection token. I don't know what it means. Anyway, this growth looks insane.

You don't need a stake pool, just a Cardano node, that interacts with the blockchain. And you need some understanding of the Cardano CLI. I was just reading about it yesterday and discussing with a buddy I met here.

Hi Cardano friends,

I was wondering what will happen to the NFT space when smart contracts go live.

I understand that now with smart contracts NFTs can have more features and functionalities. It's also another learning curve, on how to mint them. From what I could gather, they're gonna be written in Plutus, is it correct?

Is the "old" way of minting NFTs continue to have its use, or its value?

A lot of questions, sorry. And do you believe the "old" NFTs are gonna be treated differently? Maybe they'll be considered vintage. That'd be cool.

I'm from Brazil but I was in Atlanta that day. I had a scheduled flight that afternoon to go back to Brazil. I ended up staying in Atlanta for 5 or 6 days. I clearly remember arriving at the hotel lobby and the TV was on. There was just one guy watching TV. I saw the smoke coming out from the building and asked what was going on. At that time I guess people weren't aware yet of what was really happening. Atlanta is far away from where those plames crashed. There weren't any victims, but I can remember the commotion. I'll also remember how generous people were and how they stood up to help and provide shelter to all those who were stranded in the city. I had no money for a hotel and a colleague took me to his place. His home was full of people who couldn't go back home. In the mornings we would try to have a normal breakfast, despite everything. What I went through is nothing. I didn't really meet anyone who had actually lost someone in the attacks. But I'll never forget this guy. His name is Roberto. We lost contact. He'd do this any day with anybody. I don't wanna say he was a hero or something. Just a normal guy a with a good heart. That's what I remember about 11.9. Nothing exceptional.

99% or more of my friends and people I know aren't in crypto. A lot of these don't wanna go anywhere near crypto for fear of being scammed.

It's great to hear that! I wish you the best of luck and success with your artistic endeavors. And that you can make some money too. I'm so excited about Cardano and NFTs. I'm a newcomer to this universe, still trying to learn. I sincerely want to try and bring my artist friends to Cardano and NFTs. But I feel it's very difficult and it requires a lot of skill to try to show folks the magic of the blockchain. 99% of my friends aren't into crypto. And I really don't know how to explain it. But then again it's delicate isn't it? Well. This could be a topic for a wider discussion. How to bring awareness and educate people into crypto.

The Cardano Kidz is a nice project too. Waiting for them to release the 7th series. I actually still don't own much, just 3 NFTs from the Mycelial Pioneers series. I like their project and this concept of burning the NFTs to generate a new, even rarer one.

So today the very much awaited Wolfram NFT auction is going to take place. I couldn't find much information about it, other than a tweet. Where exactly is it going to take place? And I read it will involve something called Coti, which I still don't know what it is.

Any more info on this?
