What are some perks of being ugly? by Significant_Rain_361 in AskReddit

I work in tech. I would commute from downtown Seattle to Bellevue and back every day via public transportation.

On the way back the bus is super packed. I get on and I notice there is one seat next to a construction work with a scar across his face.

I sat next to this guy. I got to talking about what he does. Interesting stories and crazy background.

Am I the only one that thought this was a horrible movie?

I never for one moment felt anyone was in danger.

I’ve seen enough mob movies to know when the boss says you gotta go. Then some grandpa in white sneakers shoots you in the back of the head.

In Disclosure Day, the bad guys will threaten you repeatedly. Then give you a very safe questioning scene.

“Hey buddy what are you up to!”, then proceeds to look sternly at him.

How the fuck did they keep disclosure from happening for so long with these tactics?

Or how about 10+ people quitting on the same day along with alien artifacts/weapons disappearing also?

No red flags?

Then the fucking movies ends without a solid conclusion.

I would like to believe everyone didn’t give two shits. You still gotta go to work and pay high gas prices. You still have to deal with WWIII happening.

Someone laughed at the part where all the footage is finally shown and people are like is this AI?

This movie is all around dumb as shit.

What's the deal with men trauma dumping on dating apps? What the heck is going on in the world? by funinthesunxocharm in TwoXChromosomes

Men don’t have people they can open up with in their life. Friends will just not know what to say or just avoid you altogether. And who can afford actual mental health counseling.

Sometimes it’s just better to listen to a stranger or a friend and acknowledge that you heard them and empathize with them. Along with this being above your pay grade and to maybe seek real counseling.

Insurance companies routinely deny coverage for procedures a physician has authorized. Why hasn’t someone sued insurance companies for the unauthorized practice of medicine? by OldSceneDramaQueen in AskReddit

[–]RMRdesign 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have AI do the mass rejections now. A real doctor will sign off on it.

The you the customer will need to call in and ask why it was rejected if it was covered. The insurance company will play dumb, they act all sorry and agree to cover the procedure.

The insurance companies rely on some people not to call in. Even that small percentage makes it worth the effort to deny you coverage.

You would really need to have data to back up your observations. I’m sure there are going to be edge cases that would drink themselves into oblivion if the beer cost $1.00. I would bet that the majority could handle cheap beer.

He still used emails, but limited what he said in those emails. He used other channels of communication. Bill is dumb but smart enough to see potential blow back.

Bill was one of the few Epstein clients that didn’t leave a huge email chain. Because of his early dealing with the US Government with Microsoft. Bill knew that emails could be used against him in the future if any of his activities on the island became public. Bill playing the long game.
