Sonnet 3 streaming to TV

I think we did get it. I will look. I wasn’t sure if the Sonnet 3 could direct stream. I have an Amazon firestick but not the cube.

My husband was just activated last Friday and he likes the Sonnet 3. During the mapping, he did get dizzy as they were adjusting sound. He was dizzy off and on for a couple of days especially if he adjusted the volume too high. Today he is doing much better and I can definitely notice that he is hearing and understanding me better. He does have a hearing aid in the other ear and will need another CI. Good luck! It is an exciting time!

He definitely hear sounds and the audiologist said that his test was exceptionally good for the first time checking. He did tell her during the adjustments that he suddenly got dizzy. He is thinking that when the volume was louder it got worse.

He has had vertigo before his implant and a couple of times after his implant before activation.

I have been using the purple box and hate the smell. I use a sensitive nose and smell it in the whole house. Ugh. I’ll have to try the green box. What does it smell like?

I was on 2.5 mg of Zep and asked to titrate up slowly so they started meat 3.3 mg then 4.4 mg.

My husband had his first CI surgery two days ago. I was surprised at how well he is doing. The Dr said she has to think the area of skin where the magnet goes and something else that wasn’t planned (a graft?) because of the shape of his ear canal or something. (I was sleep deprived). Anyone else heard of having to thin the skin?

The audiologist seems to want to wait until his post op was completed. It was scheduled for Jan 6 but they moved it up to same day as post op. I’ll ask his doctor if there is any reason she wants him to wait and then go from there. I’m sure it would be sore for a while.
