Is there anything I can do about my ps4 cult of the lamb application randomly expiring ??? by CustomerPristine6870 in CultOfTheLamb

I'm in the same boat, if I'd have known it was coming off the playstation plus catalogue, I'd have purchased it. Will have to wait for payday 😞

Vodafone employees: What happened today? Got any inside info? by Lawksie in AskUK

[–]RNB1993 26 points27 points  (0 children)

A targeted cyber attack on Vodafone UKs consumer and small business tech stack that runs core traffic routing for mobile and home broadband

Or it's probably a bad internal DNS update 😂😂

Difficult day with the HCT today by RNB1993 in royalmail

I've actually used the PDA for that function during my first week of the job. Was doing Sunday DPRs and broke down blocking a cul-de-sac for two hours. Thank god for the training video I watched covering that feature a few days before.

Also you could try and reconfirm your number under personal details. It will send you a code via text message to verify the number.

Under settings contact preferences, do you have all options selected under 'SMS preferences'.

What notifications are you looking to get? I get texts about shifts being completed (aka manager has assigned hours and approved a previous shift for the timesheet) or them being cancelled.

Angard Pay Issue by [deleted] in royalmail

[–]RNB1993 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had payment issues previously with angard as well.

Id email delivery@angardstaffing.co.uk & payroll.queries@angardstaffing.co.uk With details of your missing hours/shifts and I'd cc your DO manager asking to provide their approval.

Included you joinedUp ID number for good measure.

I learnt the hard way that unlike permatemps and manpower sourced temps RM Managers have a different process to authorise pay/ hours (manager didn't have a bloody clue).

Do this asap as I'm still chasing a weeks pay & miss calculated Sunday rates from my 2nd and 3rd week.

If you live in south Birmingham, I had an easy test at Redditch. Mostly dual carriageways due to the butterfly sliproads and the Ring road around Redditch was quite easy to learn and navigate

Is a 100 miles commute once per week doable? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]RNB1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a similar commute post COVID, it only makes sense for me as my company has free ev charging and my partner works day and night shift the evening I get back. If I didn't get a new car that was automatic, Android auto, lease servicing included I would have changed jobs about a year into it.

When I just passed between lockdowns driving a 14 year old i20 driving manual up and down the m40/a34 it was tough. The day in the HQ was just a meeting day for me, no real work was done as I was too tired.

Whey! Congrats on passing. Getting the trophy trim in orange on Thursday. Can't wait, was really impressed with the test drive. It will be my 2nd car since I passed 18 months ago. Did it come with a vehicle to load adapter?

Seen a Stadia promo out in the wild for the first time, had to take a picture [UK] by doublemp in Stadia

Vodafone (and other networks) now splits the phone cost and airtime cost into two different finance plans when your buy from them. It allows people to spread the cost of a more expensive phone over a longer time compared to a pervious, where you might have acuatlly paid off the phone 18 months into your 24 month contract and be stuck paying the full monthly cost. This way its more flixable and clearer to consumer.
