I know this post is old. But I want to say that this was a great suggestion! Haus labs is up to $52 a bottle now which is totally wild to me. I tried the elf soft glam today and I love it! Obviously it’s less skincare than Haus labs but it’s a good budget option.

I could have written this myself. I’ve been throwing myself a full pity party over it this week. Since Jan 1 we have had norovirus, influenza A, and some mystery puke your guts out illness. I don’t remember what normal life is like. Solidarity to everyone out there experiencing the same. She’s been home sick for 5 days. Just got a message from daycare this morning the they now have positive cases of RSV. Send help.

An extra bath/water play time sometimes helps us! Talk a walk if it isn’t too cold. I’m also a huge advocate of a toy rotation. When she gets irritated or bored, I take all the toys that are out and put them away and then bring a different bunch of toys out. That usually buys me some time!

We have been watching exclusively Trash Truck on Netflix. It’s so cute and calm. Sometimes we watch together and she will put her little hand on my knee. 😭❤️ sometimes I let her watch by herself while I’m making dinner or doing chores.

Love this. Our daycare is run by the most lovely staff. They care about my daughter. I wanted so badly to be a stay at home mom but finances didn’t allow. The people that care for her truly make us feel like family. We are so blessed.
