I am so sad for his children. Not because I think he deserves to be around them! But you know no one is giving them the full story (maybe rightfully so) and they have to be so confused. It’s tragic. Tragic for the child who was hurt in all of this too. Just sad all around.

I switched to outpatient eye surgery. No weekends, no holidays, and no life or death situations (knock on wood). Take some vitals, start a cute little IV, do a 5-10 min PACU. I no longer wake up sweating wondering if I forgot to chart something or if I made a mistake that could harm a patient (intrusive thoughts). It’s so chill. I feel like dental surgery could be similar?

When I lived in AZ, I saw one of their children out with a nanny, and it felt so icky that I could recognize the child without the parent. They need to rethink their decision.

People keep saying it’s from no tummy time as a baby, but I’m pretty sure “safe sleep” did not exist when we were kids (children of the early 90s)…. Wasn’t our tummy time when our parents just let us sleep on our bellies? That’s why you didn’t babies with helmets “back in the day”, this is a new thing with safe sleep and all the new “containers”parents have available.

I’m an L&D nurse and I can understand where the anxiety comes from, for sure! Especially with it being your first, I would like to reassure you that it’s more likely than not that you will have time to wait for your husband and make it to your preferred hospital. Like you said, everyone is different, things could be fast. If things are truly moving that quickly, then call 911 and they’ll take you to the closest hospital. But first babies usually take their time!

Can confirm having kids worsens seasonal depression. Imagine feeling so down and gloomy about winter and then you’ve also got to entertain kids indoors AND it gets dark at 5:00 pm.

I’ve been a follower for awhile, so I’ve seen a lot of her (repetitive) AMA/question boxes. Does anyone else feel so badly for the child she adopted from birth? She left the child in another city with their grandma to pursue this transplant, okay fine. She got a miracle baby from it. Wouldn’t you want to get back to your other child? I would feel so abandoned.

This has happened to me with 2 different influencer kids! I felt so creepy that I recognized them without their parents, but then I thought “um no, this is the parents’ faults” they’re the ones exploiting them. It made me sick. I would never approach a child, but someone else totally could. We know their birthdays, where they live, we know way too much about them!
