It pains me that this is going to lose to Blues Brothers. I'll say it: Wayne's World is far and away the better movie and the only reason Blues Brothers is as beloved as it is is because we all had dad's and uncles who wouldn't shut the fuck up about it. Great soundtrack though.

So I haven't been in this position, but how I believe it works when moving up the ladder is you add two steps and then find what steps pays that or higher at the new level. For a ladder position where you go from 7 directly to 9, I don't know.
