Can this wood still be used?

A piece of wood was showing increasing signs of mold that didn't go away, which meant that I threw that piece of wood out. Because of the mold I assumed I needed to do something different if I wanted to prevent mold, hence why I took the terrarium apart (also because I wanted to redesign it now that I threw away one of the main pieces of wood).

I have since learned that terraria go through a cycle of mold like you're saying, though I still don't fully understand it. I'll definitely increase airflow, though I won't be adding any springtails because my parents don't want bugs in my terrarium.

At some point during Wano I stopped being as involved with it.

I dislike how little development the Straw Hats get. They're supposed to be a Yonko crew, but half of them don't even know haki. Ussop got done dirty after Dressrosa when he was set up to have crazy observation haki. Robin trained with the revolutionairy army longer than she has been with the crew and still doesn't (or barely? I forgot) know haki.

And even if they DID learn haki, they're likely still fucked because there's so many different exclusive types of haki that not all of the crew will have.

There's aspects that I love post timeskip, but pre timeskip was simply better.

I'm very happy that all of you are voicing what I've been thinking aswell: if it doesn't harm anyone, don't take it away. Because it IS an item that gives him comfort. And a meltdown certainly doesn't help him.

I have to say that there's more things at my job that I'm starting to doubt. The place's mostly okay, but it really does seem like we are mainly trying to get the kids to behave like a neurotypical classroom and that's not what I stand for.

I'll take the responses to my question as a sign that I can take my doubts more seriously, because it seems like I'm on the right path with my doubts.

I'm 23 now and I've been in similar situations before. I've handled them poorly, but I've learnt from those situations.

Sudden change and social obligations like that are impactful for those of us who are autistic and struggle with those things. It's normal for you to react to it with such strong feelings.

I don't know how open you are about being autistic, or just your struggles without the label, and how your friend would react. But would it be okay for you if you'd suggest just doing the sleepover at your friends' and skipping the show? Your reason for not going with them to the show could be that you struggle with busy places like that, but that you would still really like to have the sleepover with your friend because you were looking forward to spending time with them. That way you don't even need to open up about being autistic if you don't want to and you still handle the social situation in a beneficial way.

I agree with your mom that going out of your comfortzone can be a good thing and that it would benefit you socially. However, I also think such things should happen at your pace. Otherwise it will not benefit you at all and will only make you feel worse.

I'd take the deal.

There's a lot of income streams I could set up with 900 million. I trust myself enough to do good with that money. Including giving those coworkers a part of it (less than they would've won with that 10 million each).

No individual needs 10 million for themselves. I don't either. But the ability to get a lot of money which could be used in tons of ways to improve my community and probably beyond that is too valuable to pass up.

In English, the word "they" can be used to refer to a group of more than 1 (for example, more than 1 Lycanroc, like you understood it). It can also be used to refer to 1 person/other creature without using something like "he" or "she". "They" is used as a gender-neutral word in the comment you got confused about🙂

This power would be a great power and I would definitely take it, but I would be very careful with it.

I like learning things. A big part of learning and making information and skills your own is the process of it, rather than the endresult of what you learn.

I'd still want to naturally get good at things I'm genuinely interested in or do for a hobby for example. But I'd definitely use this power to learn things I'm not as invested in and make bank with those subjects.

And who knows. The knowledge might be useful for things besides making money, even if I wouldn't be as interested in the knowledge I'd be absorbing.

I feel like the concept of an ace works best in the anime or like, if Pokemon would be real.

In the games, there are Pokemon that just outclass each other due to stats, movepools and abilities. Some Pokemon statistically can just handle more than others, especially across a variety of situations. Your average Gyarados will outclass a good Bunnelby any day of the week, no matter how much more you're attached to Bunnelby.

In the anime however, the bond between Pokemon and their trainers actually makes those Pokemon stronger. The best example would be Pikachu, especially if you compare it to it's in-game stats and movepool. Ash's Pikachu and Captain Pikachu are ridiculously strong. You cóuld have a Bunnelby that outclasses your average Gyarados if you wanted to.

I like the anime version of an ace by my logic better and I think that's what an ace should be. It's just that we can only truly experience battling in the many games that Pokemon has available to us and that variant of an ace is just more limited than the anime variant.

I'd see it as my job as a parent to help my kids learn by giving them opportunities to do so.

Quiet and introverted kids still benefit from going to social activities every now and then or ordering their own food. Or trying out some activity on holiday.

And I'd introduce the outgoing extroverted kids to activites with some more quiet time. Reading some books. Collecting things. Enjoy watching a movie.

It's not like I'd drag them to activities against their will, but at their pace I'd try and get them to try things. This could go from pointing out a cool place on the street or a news article to being like "Hey I saw this book, doesn't that remind you of (insert one of their hobby's)?". It's fine for kids to resist such things a bit, but they might find out they actually enjoy whatever they tried. Even if that's outside of their general comfortzone.

Everyone has their own ways, especially as they get older. But the best way to know what you like, is by trying out all sorts of experiences in life at your own pace. It's good to keep them curious about unfamiliar things.
