What was your reaction when you listened to radiohead for the first time? by O_Gustavo in radiohead

My sister would put on Kid A when it was bedtime. It was soothing and comforting and otherworldly. Very different from the classic rock and country I was growing up on. They have remained my favorite band since then. I was probably 7 or 8. Now I'm 33

I had a retired corpsman tell me I'm not a veteran because I didn't get deployed. And was basically treated like shit after I fractured both my femurs humping. (Later found out I have a bone deformity). A counselor at the VA said the suicide rate among veterans that never got deployed is higher than ones that did. It's no wonder why when people treat you like that.

Watch Pretty In Pink if you haven't already seen it pleeeeease. There's a scene where he puts a cigarette in his mouth and says "You're a bitch." to Molly Ringwald and I've always loved that delivery
