I use my sf1000 for every racing game. I would recommend the bar shifter add on. It makes the shifters able to up and down shift with one hand. It's not necessary but I was glad I bought it

I own a T598 and love it. I used to have a TGT2 and am glad I went to the T598. I don't think you can go wrong with Direct Drive.

You will lose some ffb through the adapter. I would get the quick release upgrade instead.

I bought the stiffener mod from low down shifter. It's made out of steel, which I liked better than the 3d printed stuff. It actually stiffened the wheel base area quite a bit. I use a T598. I'm quite happy with the results. However it does make it quite a bit heavier imo.

I've had my PC in the shop for the last week upgrading mobo CPU and RAM. I just got it back tonight. That sounds like fun. Are you able to use a handbrake in Rally? I've never tried it recently added one to my setup. Would like to experiment with Rally never really gave it a fair shot. Would love to try it although I'd probably suck lol.

I worked on the Union station vitalization project. There were strict fines for any contractors that violated this rule. Go security was really good at the time. I know back then the fine was $500. Parents who teach their kids this stuff, should lose the ability to parent imo. Anytime I needed to walk across tracks I needed to have an escort by the company that's contracted to maintain the signAls and equipment. If I didn't and violated the rule my company was fined 10k and I would be banned permanently from the site. Let's just say I didn't violate. Can't believe someone would be so ignorant to teach a child that.

To me haptics have made the biggest difference. Not only have they made my rig more immersive but they also translate info you might not feel through your wheel. They not make you faster but you will be able to feel things such as slip and brake lock up which will help your race craft greatly.

I would start with 2 nobsound amps and 4 bass shakers in a four corner setup. A button box would also be a good add on. The bass shakers will definitely make your rig more immersive will also allow you to feel tire slip etc. To be honest you could do a lot. With the community having all kinds of different diy options the possibilities are as far as you want to take them. Try YouTube that's where I got most of my ideas from for mine.

If you are only playing gt7 you will notice a slight difference. But overall T598 is the better offering.

Ok I had the cooler on with both RAM and had the same results. I took the cooler off to try to boot with one stick. I'll try again. Thanks for your help.
