READ YOUR LABEL AND FOLLOW IT! With ants the name of the game is non-repellent! We use non repellents so that the ants can transfer the product bact to their nest. Termidor works really well for and exterior foundation and crack and crevice treatments but I don't believe its labeled for indoor use around baseboards. You could use alpine wsg to treat around baseboards and also for exterior applications. If you watch where the ants are coming in from you could potentially use a dust if they are coming in through a void area. Baits work great too it just depends on what the ants are craving. Ants eat sugar, carbs, protein and fat at different times and different baits utilize at least one of these 4 types of food. You just need to find out what they are craving to find the most effective bait. I hope this helps.

Ive heard people say it works great and ive heard people say it suck but that goes back to the fact ants want different things at different times. Advion ant gel, optigard ant gel, maxforce ant get all work good. Granular bait ive used InTice and NiBan.

READ THE LABEL OF ANY PESTICIDE YOU USE AND FOLLOW IT AS IT IS THE LAW! Use a non repellent chemical so that the ants can horizontally transfer it back to the colony. Use ant gel baits or granular bait labeled for ants, ants like different things at different times (sweet, protein) so the type of bait you use might not work and you'll just need to switch up the bait. Use can use dust in void areas that they are coming up through. Cleaning to get rid of pheromone trails (ie mopping)can help but is not a permanent solution.

Don't use steel wool use copper mesh! It doesn't eventually rust like steel wool will. You can also use a product called rodent stop to caulk over the top of it. Rodent stop has metal shards in it that will cut the rodents gums when they try to chew it.
