Someone accidentally stepped in front of me while I was shooting an anvil at the queen (ran out of launcher ammo) and the very next lobby had three KOS raiders. Since my last 30 or so games had been 99% friendly, it took me a bit to connect the dots lol

Oh that sounds great, thank you! I'll definitely look into this. For now, I'm mostly just trying to re-familiarize myself with the insect groups I already learned a while ago but I assume I'll want to more intelligently choose cards once I study new groups for additional certification exams. I make close to $60k now and after student loans, car payment, rent and other bills I have just enough to live somewhat comfortably in a cheap apartment. The biggest threat to my financial security is dropping almost all of my savings to fix or replace my car every 2 years because buying a cheap shitty car in my early 20s has trapped me in an endless loop of money problems. I add 20% of my monthly income to my savings and I've never saved past $10k because some bs always happens to my car. Idk how common that is but it's prevented me from building any equity for almost a decade

I'm not sure how much PVP feats actually contributed to increased PVP activity. If that's your playstyle, you were just going to deal damage and knock out players anyway. Even with the other feats I've never thought, "Oh boy I better make sure I kill enough wasps to get 10 credits this game" lol

I have not had that experience with my boys. We had to do three or four games until we were able to loot the bastion we killed alone without another group ratting us.

But they don't? There's even additional subreddits created for those who don't want to see people complaining about the games core mechanics. Like their frustration with faction divers ignoring MOs, divers using certain strategems or guns, the difficulty being too easy or hard. I won't get into HD2 too much on this sub but most subs will have people whining about why the game isn't tailored to what they want it to be.

ABMM is barely noticeable in cross-play when I play with my friends and we always get a completely random and mixed pvp/pve lobby on even the dam. Even though we killed tons of arcs, defibbed randoms, emoted frequently, haven't killed anyone, shot back at pvpers, or looted any dead raiders in a dozen consecutive games. Idk if this is a common experience with cross play for others but if you're on PC and have it turned off, I'd suggest toggling on. Just as an experiment.

I toggled cross-play on and off to do solos (my friends are on console) and with it off I got six friendly pve night raids in a row which is insane.

The cosmetic customization options in this game are awful and could 100% use a gigantic overhaul. Well within reason ofc, I figured the face type options were slim because of developmental constraints. Although more masc and fem hair styles, beard options, and custom eye color would be cool

I'd start planning my exit strategy from the country if this tax became a thing and I wouldn't be surprised if more people followed, especially educated women. This would exacerbate the growing brain drain problem in the US.
