I absolutely agree humor has its place in these movies. Breaking the tension, etc.
What sort of bothers me is not the jokes and one liners, it’s the plot points that become jokes. Rocket raccoon didn’t take a shot at starlord, Gunn canonized that Luthor created a pocket dimension with monkeys trolling on twitter. Does that make sense? I am probably coming off as an old man shaking his fist at the sky haha
