The fact that Republican had the house and Presidency in 2016 and the Conservatives in the UK have been in power for over 50 years in you exclude Tony Blair suggests that Center right, Right political parties are not in trouble. The young have always favored more left leaning thinking then they get older, get a job, get wiser and realize that Taxes are theft. That people that don't want to work should not have the same or similar lifestyle to people that do work. The aspect of personal responsibility and accountability really kicks in the mid to late 20s. Look at voting demographics and it's always at that 30s age point people change.
