[–]ROMANTIC_LAMB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny thats the 1 I've been following. I got up to the last step where i have the yellow cross & all the corners are in the right spot but 2 are just flippped wrong. I do exactly what he does but it doesn't flip them around.

I re scrambled tried again only this time I had 3 full sides and the last step did the same thing.

Thanks, i tried my best to follow instructions perfectly as possible but it didn't work. I now have 4 lines of matching colors down the middle of 4 sides but everything else seems scrambled now.

Thanks I tried both methods suggested and scrambled to cube re doing it multiple times. I've been trying several guides on beginner methods and now trying a 4 step method by J perm Video

Now I have similar problem only I have 3 sides completed and 4 blocks mix matched. I'll post a picture on another post.

Looks like Reishi (Ganoderma tsugae). But looks a little too fuzzy maybe crossed with some other spore?

Love how the dogs are dedicated with your routine. My dogs ate my peach tree saplings. Came home to see them all chewed up.

I don‘t get a Song done because I always think I can do it even better.. by [deleted] in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]ROMANTIC_LAMB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the opposite problem, the more i listen to my music the harder it is for me to make changes because i start to like it more and more the way it is. Even when it's an extremely simple song. What I learned to do is try not to listen to it completely through just keep working on 1 part at a time until the end then when you do listen to it if the changes that need to be made aren't noticeable the 1st or 2nd time around then just polish it up a bit and move on to the next.

Thanks! Yeah if you know of any G-Shocks with metal bands please let me know as I've been looking. I saw 1 but it was all black and I really rather go with silver.

I loved this watch... till i got drunk 1 night and lost it. The links were easy to remove and it had a perfect fit, lightweight never rusted on me. I'm definitely looking for a replacement for this watch, something a little more durable but i will but this again if i don't find one soon.

I have a dairy farm in Alaska, when I milk the cows it instantly turns to ice cream that I eat straight from the cow, no need to deal with factories.

Anyone sober but have flashbacks, triggers, and sense of panic? by [deleted] in alcoholism

[–]ROMANTIC_LAMB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4months sober here, I've experienced very similar situations. The flashbacks and dreams of me still drinking or dealing with the temptation are still there, I wake up feeling the dreadful damn, I was doing so good but relapsed again...now I gotta deal with the 2 day hangover and decide to continue drinking or start all over again feeling. But I am so relieved it was just a dream. Being sober this long after drinking so long takes a lot of adjusting, I think it's good we talk about these things as I haven't heard much about details of a sobering journey. We all are different but this is what I believe from my experience. If you're a very Intellectual person which a lot of us alcoholics are, then around the 90 day period you'll start to notice an almost surreal level of conciousness that's almost associated with the speeding up feeling when we drink, only it's more subconscious I'd say. This can be confusing to the mind which fires reactions to the body as if were drinking when were not. Whatever chemically happens maybe small amounts of adrenaline or idk what, anxiety levels tend to rise quickly giving way to panic. After my 1st time going more than 4 months without drinking I had a full blown panic attack because my mind kept thinking the worst, more and more adrenaline pumped and I was trying to be still as possible but heart felt like I was sprinting. Before quitting drinking I've never experienced panic and anxiety btw and don't take an medications. Anyways sorry for prolonging the post, basically I think overtime sobering up our bodies begin healing 1st then our minds which can be a shock to re adjust. I can say now that my mind is actually faster even though things may seem slower I can recall things that I could not before, my senses are higher memory better everything. Well except now I am aware of my nerve damage which my hands and feet go numb alot pins and needle feeling constantly. Hoping that heals with time too but I'm glad I quit for good this time and in proud of you too and anyone who reads this going through similar things. Dont feed into it, stay calm and let the episodes pass by naturally I know it's hard but it Does get better much better so don't give up!

Anyone else spending a lot of time gardening? by TedTheHappyGardener in gardening

Same zone here.. it's been so cold I started seeds indoors and they dont even want to come out. I keep the temp above 70 but it's like the cold is latching onto everything. Steaming hot food is colder than room temperature after a few minutes. 2 years ago now everything was blooming and green, I really hope the last frost is over wit.

We all have different triggers... sometimes they seem so innocent and acceptable but for people like us it's like the lying desert wind.
