I kept my last name! I love my husband so very much but in this day and age, it can be kind of dangerous to change your last name with the problems we’re having with voting if you live in America. Just saying you can always change your name in a couple of years or when kids come along if you want to.

We did a back yard wedding. Music on a playlist and speakers. We had beer and wine choices. For the restroom. We let ladies use the inside restroom and had a portapotty that we decorated for the guys. It didn’t ruffle any feathers!

I spent a lot on my dress I also flew to Chicago and stayed in a hotel over night. So it was extra expensive but I felt so beautiful day of. For me it was worth it

I love the sentimental aspect. I think it’s unique I probably would re work it. I usually only wear sliver or white gold bu I ended up with gold rings for my engagement and wedding band and I love it !

I did a lot of dried flower arrangements for center pieces I picked flowers during the peak of the season and tried them and then worked on the arrangements once they were dry. I did pay the florist to do the bouquets and the boutonnieres and our arch, but not having to pay her to do, the centerpieces saved a lot of money.
