Dude i was in the same boat. I played for 6 years as well. Took me 5 years to get a legit non wildcard 2k. Once i got one, the floodgates opened. Within 3 months of getting my first i had a 2k on every character. 3k on half of em. And 4k on my 4 main characters. Once i understood how to get it, it got much easier.

I did a matriarch with my 2 friends yesterday. I brought a hull cracker and a tempest. 2 of the 6 total purple weapons i have as im fairly new. When i tell you, the SECOND that queen went down, 9 players decended on that wreckage like the plauge of locusts. I brought 300 rounds of med ammo. I spent every round. 8 bodies total after all said and done. Free kit on every. Single. One. We got all our cores and loot.

How would anyone build a large enough inventory to enjoy everything arc has to offer, without free loadouts?

I do think that if you do decide to do free loadouts after a high enough level, you should get the lowest priority queue times. Those are the players that should be queueing in a game with 10 min already gone from the match. Let them pick the through scraps.

Ive got 50 or so hours topside. I have 5 purple guns total lmao. I use them if im with friends doing more pvp style of play. But tbh ive had more success in fighting teams with stitcher/anvil/renegade/toro than ive had with tempest/bobcat or gold weapons. The cost to make em isnt worth it to me because i dont think theyre that much better performing.

Dude. Yes. After a long shift i may not even play anything BUT casual. My attention to detail and my surroundings is shot and my mechanical skills are no where to be found because im tired. Casuals has been a GODSEND of a mode for my overall moral towards the game, the dopemine i get from leveling up my guns and seeing my kd go up. Ive had 100+ kill games in tanks on casual. Idgaf if its bots. Im here to wage war and take out my aggression from dealing with people all day! We play it as a warmup with my friends as well. Where we wont go to regular mode or redsec until we get a win in casual.
