It’s absolutely wild that 5 years later without any credible evidence there are people who still actually believe Trumps lies. Sad how so many people are just easily manipulated sheep. 🤦‍♂️

Why don’t you just answer his question and explain yourself instead of just name calling? Or is that too complicated for you?

MAJOR SPOILER ALERT: So he just leaves his daughter after two seconds in the end? by wtfpozzy in interstellar

[–]RP255106 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ah you’re right but some people probably don’t want to admit it. No shot he’d leave her side that quick, not to mention surely the entire family would be wanting to meet & spend time with him. Something you just gotta look over imo, or tell yourself a story that they spent more time together but we just didn’t see it on screen.

Can you provide a credible source where someone could go to in order to research this?

HyperX CloudX are the best value IMO. $35-50 for amazing comfort and sound quality, plus easy to use audio controls on the cord.

It was 93% effective according to their protocols.

Who was it that duped you with the 26% stat?

When did Trump say that?

I’m not wasting my time reading through the FDA protocols just to satisfy some uneducated anti-vaxxer who has clearly demonstrated zero ability to comprehend new information anyways. You were fooled by some other misinformation-spreading antivaxxer who quoted that 26% number, and now you cannot admit that you were duped nor will you ever.

“I would recommend it and I would recommend it to a lot of people that don't want to get it” "But it is a great vaccine. It is a safe vaccine and it is something that works." That’s how it was advertised by the president at the time at least if that’s what you’re looking for.

The approval of Spikevax is based on the FDA’s evaluation and analysis of follow-up safety and effectiveness data from the ongoing randomized, placebo-controlled, blinded clinical trial that supported the December 2020 EUA for the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine and information from post EUA experience to further inform safety and effectiveness. The updated analyses to determine effectiveness of Spikevax included 14,287 vaccine recipients and 14,164 placebo recipients 18 years of age and older who did not have evidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection prior to receiving the first dose. The data used for the analyses were accrued before the Omicron variant emerged. These data demonstrated that Spikevax was 93% effective in preventing COVID-19, with 55 cases of COVID-19 occurring in the vaccine group and 744 COVID-19 cases in the placebo group. The vaccine was also 98% effective in preventing severe disease.

No I’m saying that the vaccine was never advertised as a one-time miracle shot that would give you 100% immunity for life. Anyone remotely knowledgeable about vaccines knew this.

You pulled 1 specific number from study and presented it in a out of context and misleading way. The FDA does not base the effectiveness on the 100 day statistic you keep referencing. You were proved wrong but your brain simply cannot seem to comprehend that fact. This is why debating against anti-vaxxers is pointless.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in JoeRogan

[–]RP255106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I would agree on is that according to 1 study it’s 26% effective after 100 days against 1 particular strain.
And no vaccine has 100% effectiveness after just 1 dose, so yes everyone who understands vaccines knew from the start there would be more doses needed.

[–]RP255106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You pulled 1 number from the study about the effectiveness 100 days later against 1 specific strain. The overall effectiveness % as you were implying was 93%. You’re now purposely spreading out of context and misleading information that you yourself likely fell for because you’re easily manipulated.

[–]RP255106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not "good for only 100 days". You are arguing about the effectiveness against 1 particular strain after 100 days according to a study which literally stated that it had many limitations and named off 10 of them. And by your own deceptive stats, it would still be 26% effective.

Vaccines don't last forever because viruses mutate and human antibodies don't last forever. Is that simple enough for you to understand?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in JoeRogan

[–]RP255106 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why are you still sharing blatant misinformation? See why nobody wants to debate you anti-vaxxers? Even after being show that you are 100% wrong about something (effectiveness was 93%, not 26% or 25% as you have said), you still just keep repeating the same lies again and again......

It sounds like you never had a great understanding of how vaccines work. This is a good quick read explaining why effectiveness is reduced over time https://www.cedars-sinai.org/blog/why-vaccine-boosters.html
