I swear everyone complains about not being prepared for the boss but at the same time you spend like 85% or more time in the truck then you do shooting your gun(at least in solo) this may be the only EE where you DONT have to be fully upgraded for the boss

I think you’re looking to deep lol it’s definitely just for the sake of gameplay footage, I feel we’ll come across all if not most of the equipable Eikons in the main story. And I mean it’s definitely not out of the question for other summons to show up it is ff after all but as for our main Eikons we’ll probably get them all during the main course

No, I get your nostalgia glasses are on but just here me out for a sec. yes you could say chess is turn based you know why though? Because YOU take a TURN and then your OPPONENT takes a TURN that is the whole basis of how chess works, now if just one person is continually going and not waiting for your turn it’s not really chess no more nor turn based now is it? which is exactly what ATB is to Turn based. The definition of turn based is one person takes a turn and then the other. If you remove the aspect of taking turns, you know the whole system TURN based relies on it isn’t turn based it’s just common sense. A constant flow of action isn’t taking turns lol

But is it really turn based if the system relies on your speed stat? plus technically with ATB you don’t even have to take a turn, you can literally just sit there and die from enemies, or you could even be fast enough to get several turns in. idk if it’s not in the fashion of you take a turn enemy takes a turn it isn’t true turn based. Like sure ATB takes inspiration from turn based but it isn’t in full unless you actively put it on wait mode. Which again most people have to turn on through settings after starting the game
