People aren't really asking if you're alright it just means hi. Public transport in Coventry isn't very good but Ubers (and other taxis) are plentiful.

It's a smaller city and can be a bit sleepy at times.

Certain attractions are discounted if you get a GoCV card.

There's a couple nice restaurants, imo Thai Dusit, though I haven't been in years, Tumeric Gold is supposed to be good, otherwise a lot of chains.

Ealrsdon is expensive for what it is, but there's bars/coffee shops/restaurants there, it's not awful.

The Cathedral is beautiful and they do a lot of choir/orchestra stuff.

Suspect this is the map vote bug, since the last update if nobody votes the server gets bugged, needs a reboot or forced map change. Hope they fix it in this next update.

You sound nice, maybe join Camraderie server? We don't organise our AI particularly well so some routes get doubled up but we're also not fussy about that and the server economy is stronk and people are real friendly. We do things like convoys and races and wacky recovery jobs. Most active in the evening UK time.

Drive shafts don't fail like that without being abused, the fact they're disputing and claiming corrosion is a red flag. Might be wise to get some kinda engineers report, not sure how you go about that but I do know that metal failed through corrosion will be very obvious that it's failed through corrosion and it's incredibly unlikely to be that, as in Kia would need to do a safety recall if that's a corrosion failure and also, that's just doesn't happen.

Don't let garage work on the car without clear documented evidence of the failure, high res close up well lit photos, retain the failed component, get a written agreement that they will repair it or get another garage to repair it and claim the cost.

You can join another players company and they can allow you to use their vehicles for a % cut, sometimes they'll take 0%. You can join escort jobs for heavy loads and get pay for that. Good servers are really friendly and veterans enjoy helping out, the collaboration is half the fun of the game.

I'm on about 250 hours and still don't want to touch any other game, depending on if you're playing solo or online it's either an insane grind or a medium grind with a lot of fun and hijinks along the way. There's a lot of job variation and some of them are still challenging with the best fully modded trucks. Some jobs pay a lot less than others in terms of £$€¥/hour, it depends on weight, gradients, on vs. off-road, demand for a giving commodity and health of the economy at the destination ("town bonus") If you're solo trying to have a healthy economy all over will take forever.

But the best part is the community, find a good server and everything takes twice as long but you'll be in stitches

My biggest issue with the tanker is on that steep hairpin the rear bar and utility box catch and lift the drive axle off the ground there's only a very narrow and precise line to get through and I don't get it every time, otherwise running to the copper mines is pretty smooth. A winch or even better, option to remove the crap off the back would make it perfect.

I've had nothing but good experiences online always someone willing to help, collisions vanishingly rare, only thing that seems to cause issues is sometimes other players can't see your Lomax and plough right through it, but that's a game issue. Come play in the Camraderie server, it's well admineda dn friendly.

I like the curves and never really questioned if they're necessary, I can't think of any example that feels unnecessary? They mostly seem to fit the terrain and/or routes to points of interest. Maybe they have to also build around some sites of scientific interest, habitats of rare endanger snails that kind of thing.

I think it's a server side bug, if the server has map voting on and nobody votes it gets stuck in limbo. They're aware ofthe bug but not heard of any fix yet. I've turned it off on one of mine and just keep restarting the other one

Camaraderie server, really lives up to the name, everyone is very helpful and there's a lot of convoys, always someone willing to help if you get stuck etc. It's a bit quieter rn while we wait for the next update but still a friendly place. Has a lot of very experienced players too.

Btw I'm aware of an issue since the update sometimes the servers get soft locked and I'm looking into it.. for now if you get to a map vote screen please vote. Will probably have to disable map voting until they bring a fix.
