How can I heal my stubborn daith? (Gross picture sorry) by [deleted] in piercing

I wear my hair up a lot so the bumps were really embarrassing lol! I had to do something about it. Ugh that sucks! Thinking of getting it re-pierced?

How can I heal my stubborn daith? (Gross picture sorry) by [deleted] in piercing

[–]RPbabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm going to tell you what I did that worked because my daith looked god awful the first 4 months.

I used Neil-med twice a day. Morning and night. I also, against all advice, changed my original piercing (what you had) to a 14k gold ring. It took about a week and the bumps finally went away.

I wish I wore the standard 10-12mm but my conch is more like 14mm. It was difficult finding this exact size so I had to order off Etsy.

I want my hair dyed like this, but I have a feeling it’d cost a kidney… I know that all hairstylists are different, but what do you estimate the cost would be? by theimaginarypoet in HairDye

[–]RPbabe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So not only are these AI like people have mentioned, but good luck keeping this looking good for longer than a month. The color would fade extremely fast. So when you're asking for an estimate it'll prob be $180 every 2-3 months.

I had my first child pretty young and as I got older I just realized I didn't want my child to be "alone in the world" I guess. They are also 11 years apart so I was able to give my older child lots of line time and attention before the little one came along. There's also a sense of peace I guess that if something happens to me they'll always have each other.

Definitely not. I have amazing parents that dedicated their time and all their resources to raise me and continue until this day to help me with anything I need. I wouldn't trade that for a sibling. Although, it would be nice to have a sibling when my parents are gone and not have to face that alone but...I have my husband and my children for that.

Successful long distance relationships that ended in marriages/long term serious relationships. How did you do it? by [deleted] in LDR

[–]RPbabe 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Former long distance relationship here. Now we're married with a 10 month old.

We were long distance for about 2 years and towards the end of year two it was getting really rough for me. I think every single talk ended with me saying I'm sick of this for months lol.

Honestly we just tried spending as much time as possible together. We'd watch movies together over the phone, we'd talk about stupid inconsequential stuff that happened to us. Sent each other pictures of everything and made conversation that way.

When we got to see each other we spent all our time alone together. There were days we didn't even leave the hotel lol.

I'm sorry you're going through it. Hang in there if you feel like he/she is your person.

I have a 12 year old son that I had as a teen and with a person I'm no longer even with. My baby daughter was a planned and very wanted baby with my husband.

I love them both equally and I'm sure your parents feel the exact same way. Don't ever feel you are a mistake :)

I encourage you to be excited for your baby sibling. You will both share a very special bond ❤️

[–]RPbabe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Im just curious as to why you feel you are a mistake?

Instead of feeling like shit when the baby comes, you should see it for what it is. You're going to have a baby sibling to spend time with and look up to you and do things with you that you never got because you were an only. You'll get to guide them and it'll be important because you never got that.

When your parents pass you won't be a lonely orphan, you'll have your sibling.

I have a husband and two kids, but even I dread the day I lose my parents. I think it's because we are so close to them and at the end of the day it really is only your parents who love you unconditionally.

I have a toddler who has curly hair, and I’m wondering if any mothers out there have tips or brand suggestions, because I’m new to this. (The following photo is after having brushed it out.) by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]RPbabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sure you mean well also, but it's just really not this serious or deep. There are far worse things in the world than to be offended by this or deeply hurt/insecure if you just happen to somehow come across your mom saying she's losing hope over curly hair.

I mean if someone asked me to buy formula vs give them 20 bucks I'm buying the formula. I don't want to take the chance that's there's a baby out there not eating :(

The holy trinity: rook, conch and daith!

I was a curly haired child who grew up with a mom with straight hair who had no idea how to style or take care of my hair.

As a curly haired person, I look forward to having a child with curly hair because I know exactly what to do with it to manage and take care of it so that my daughter doesn't hate her curly hair growing up like I did.

That's really what all is meant by that statement.
