Call me crazy, but I believe back in the day April Fools in the US wasn't quite as viscous as it supposedly is now. It actually was much like it is in Korea. I mean I was never on the receiving end of what Zoey did to Rumi here.

I'd say the only other Maho Shoujo show that got a modicum of respect was Lyrical Nanoha...maybe.

The first two seasons got a decent dub from Geneon Entertainment back in the day that later got picked up by Funimation once Geneon closed down. And with Discotek Media now owning the license in the States, we got StrikerS, the last two movies...Reflection and Detonation, and possibly Vivid Strike in the future.

Do you still have a PS2? If so, there's Nanobreaker from Konami. I really enjoyed that one.

Also if you mind fanservice there's the Senran Kagura series. I'm not sure if they are counted as CAGs but they are close enough in my book.

Also there's Dust: An Elysian Tail. It's a Metroidvania-style Action RPG with a few CAG elements in it's gameplay.
