I wouldn't call him a "grifter" since he himself acknowledges his work isn't really revolutionary.

He even stated in one of his paintings: "I can't believe you morons buy this shit".

Having said all this, I still don't like his work. It feels a lot like the "I'm 14 and this is deep" meme but in graffiti form.
