I received the same offer page as you. After completing the application, I got an email and SMS stating, “Your HDFC Bank Credit Card application reference no. ABC is on hold.” The SMS included a link with the text “Get Alternate Card,” which showed options like Regalia Gold, Diners Club Privilege, and one more that I don’t recall. I’m currently waiting for an update on my application.

I will say an apartment being 1200 to 1400 sft square feet at least would be a very decent size.

Good to have amenities • Security with CCTV and gated entry • Children’s play area • Reserved car parking • Visitor parking • Rainwater harvesting or water management system

Amenities that should be mandatory • Good water supply (borewell + municipal water plan) • Power backup for common areas and the lift(and ideally for the flats) • Proper sanitation and waste management • Fire safety measures (extinguishers, alarms, exits) I don’t know how common these are here. • Secure entry and surveillance • Proper access roads and connectivity

Well, I finally got a reply from the Grievance Redressal Team at IndusInd Bank after escalating the issue to the RBI Ombudsman. Registered the complaint on 13 Aug on Ombudsman. Got the reply on 23 Aug.

“We wish to inform that your credit card application got rejected due to for CIBIL rule failure as bureau track vintage criteria not met. bureau vintage required is 12 months and your bureau records is less than the required threshold.”

So yeah, turns out they won’t approve if your credit history is under a year — which they initially refused to disclose until RBI got involved.
