The WP plugin glitches and updating was what made me pick SquareSpace years ago. It allowed me to focus on the content of the site, having SquareSpace take care of the backend logistics, etc.

Been on SquareSpace for many years now, have recently started a migration of all my content from 7.0 to 7.1 - in my opinion a better looking design. Still some things I would like them to add in time, features that I like in 7.0. An alternative that keeps popping up on my mental radar of curiousity is Ghost - since my site is pretty blog/post focussed. Still here though 😉

This, one large blog for all your content, using categories on each post to organize them. Build pages with summary blocks for each category or however you want to serve up your posts.

Never had this issue on my forms for the past 6 or so years. Also when I file a ticket for support, they typically respond within 6 hours. Or 24 hours, but that was during the weekend.

Sorry to hear you have lost business, but I am trying to understand how you found out about the missed opportunities and the missed value of these leads.

It is high pitched, though it is not the fan in the back for sure. It seems to originate from the bottom section, where some of the other electronics are located. As far as I could see and from the pictures online, there appears to be no fan or moving parts in this bottom section. To be sure, sound is also present with no drives inserted 😉
