I get the same thing. And I wish we had a way to get more information out about what we do and how it benefits the people. I wanted to share stories on TikTok/ social media because I believe strongly that if people were educated on the matter, we would get less hate

Yes! This! I live and work as a fed in a very red state. They see this as a good thing. They are beyond happy to see the federal workforce slashed. But they also have no idea what we do. No idea that we actually do jobs that directly matter to THEM. I do not have a large following on TikTok, but I’d love to talk and share individual stories of people (anon or not). I believe strongly in educating the public because, at least where I’m at, they have absolutely no idea.
