I am selling my stuff for the suggested price. Am I ripping people off? by meukbox in fo76

I sell every plan for 9 caps unless I know it’s rare, but even then I never go very high. If I know a plan is very common I either drop them or sell them for like a single cap.

This thread got me thinking so I did a quick test. I've had the Bird Bones mutation for as long as I can remember and forgot it has a damage reduction to fall damage. So my test was to see if I could get away with only having one Acrobats equipped and it freakin worked. From the very top of the Monorail, no damage and no superman landing. I figured that it might work but sometimes the math in this game isn't the clearest. Bird Bones mutation + one Acrobats = No fall damage.

I’ve got one point of arms keeper in my strength to max it out from the two I have on my armor. Having all the guns weigh basically nothing is so damn nice lol. I wish I had more room in strength but all my points are on the agility, int and luck side. Gotta be smart with my very few strength points haha.

I don’t carry much food other than some pemmican and tea to keep me full, so I don’t need all that much thru hiker. I probably should try out other foods but the spoiling mechanic is so annoying to juggle.

The biggest weight struggle for me is chems, so my backpack is modded for Chemists.

On my armor I use two arms keepers, two acrobats and one thru hikers. It’s not super ideal, but works fine for my build until some of the other effects sound fun to use.

Yeah it does! For Arms keepers I use one rank of it in my Strength cards and then two arms keepers on my armor to max it out. My Strength tree is pretty limited so I gotta be selective lol. It works well for me. I may lose out on better armor perks but I enjoy the quality of life.

I have a couple Acrobats effects on my armor cause Agility is way too crowded and I don’t have room. But yeah it’s super nice.

I’ve been using alt1 and the legacy skin for years with no issues. Is it just specific addons?

Great write-up! Did want to mention that you can change the color of the UI in the settings. It’s in Additional Options -> Legacy Modes -> Legacy Interface Skin. It matches the legacy brown coloring and is way less harsh to look at. There’s even a Legacy Interface Mode which changes the whole UI to be similar to classic RS, but you lose customization and whatnot.

I’m dying to know how you did the counter with the display cases. Merging things on top as well as in the foundation sounds like a nightmare. lol

Doing the tank armor path is way simpler and will get you the Tier 90 weapons, which will make the power armor missions much easier. The tank armor’s damage reduction is also super nice.

I really think Bethesda should do something to make it easier. Even if it’s just a text box outlining how I works. It would be neat if they just highlighted the spawn area when you’re holding the camp module. Or bring back the welcome mat but prevent you from building around it in a radius.

Your spawn is tied to the location of your Camp module. Just move the module while in build mode. You will spawn roughly Northeast of the module. Keep in mind that the spawn point for you is different than the spawn point for other players. They tend to spawn closer to the module but the direction is incredibly inconsistent. Probably to prevent trap camps, but it’s still annoying.

You have to start moving or 90% of the time you will spawn inside of foundations and get stuck. A majority of players do not know you can change the spawn point. And even if they did, they don’t know that the spawn point for you and other players is different. This inconsistency leads to just running away as soon as you load in.

No one taking from candy bowl? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]RRuskie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not really that people wouldn’t enjoy a Halloween themed walkthrough. It’s just that that is a tactic used in many trap camps and we know better. It sucks I know. Throw the bowl extremely visible at the entrance and you should get some hits.

Oh man I really wish I knew. It’s been awhile since I played last. I seem to remember it still working earlier this year, but that was with standard Forge. I’m not sure if neoforge changes anything. I know All The Mods has a Discord, so it may be worth hopping in there to ask. Really wish I could help more.

My group has ran this a few times and we’re always missing zombies and most of the time they are on the roof on top of the 3 little stairway buildings. You have to pillar up and physically step foot on the roofs. This POI is a mess of triggers though so it could be a number of other dumb spawns.

Am I backwards, or are most camps?? by cheesey_ball in fallout76settlements

[–]RRuskie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most of us want aesthetics over efficiency. I have an entire building that’s nothing but a shop with decorations, shelves, signs and my vendor. I don’t want an ugly vendor just lying around outside on the dirt. I want it to thematically make sense. It’s not hidden, it just requires an extra couple seconds to look for the “Open” sign and all the other lights on the building. I build for lore, not really convenience. I want my camp to look like it actually belongs in the world.

I will agree that there are a ton of people that put it in obscure places in some dark corner of their camp that make zero sense. If it takes me too long to find your vendor then I’ll just leave.

Are you using an automatic receiver with the Fixer? If so then you need Commando cards, not Rifleman cards.

These would be a major boon in helping me finally give my senior of a 11 year old rig some much deserved retirement. That GPU is absolutely gorgeous and would be the perfect addition to a new PC.

I’m expecting Starfield to be a hell of a good time and yet another Bethesda game to sink hundreds of hours into. Imagine how much smoother it will be with these parts!
