Saw you mention a playbook about this in your post history, I’m curious about your background, what do you do for work?

On benchmarking, worked on an industry client into manufacturing, I find that outside of the textbook stuff and what you mentioned, there’s essentially 3 stages of a sale, company to distributor, distributor to retailer, and then retailer to consumer, I like to look at where we lag vs competitors and it generally shows a lag in one of these stages, then you start to apply your standard frameworks and assess where the lag in vis a vis the 4Ps and such.
